Check out Michael

Hello, my fellow friends, it’s a new week which means a new introduction. We at Revolution Force consider all our teammates part of the family, so let’s welcome another new family member Mr. Michael who lives in the good ol state of Ohio!

Michael is a consultant at Revolution Force and can be seen working on the affiliate manager side from time to time. When he’s not working, you can find him doing random things outdoors, such as skiing or playing basketball at the park. He also enjoys playing video games and even develops video games sometimes! How rad is that?

Where are you located?

Columbus, Ohio

How long have you been at Revolution Force?

1 week

Why did this type of work interest you, and how did you get started?

I started as an affiliate about 14 years ago, promoting paysites with revhare, mostly using blogs. Along the way, I networked with a lot of people. I helped with tech issues since tech support is my background before this, and I eventually became an affiliate manager for a few different companies.

What’s a typical workday like for you?

Wake up, do work, day’s gone.

What do you like most about working for Revolution Force?

The team seems great and on top of everything, I’m not the one doing everything now, and I love it. 🙂

What is one piece of advice you can give someone who wants to work in affiliate marketing?

Don’t give up too quick.

KISS method (Keep it simple, stupid)

Scale-up what’s working, but be sure to know how to tell if it’s scalable first.

Take all advice with a grain of salt, you need to do your own testing.

How is the work culture at Revolution Force?

It seems fun so far; everything is positive and seems like a good company to be with long term. I’ll find out more soon.

What is your greatest work achievement?

I’ve helped make a few people into millionaires. I have also had never flown before getting into affiliate marketing, so seeing Europe for the first time was great.

Where do you see yourself in this industry in five years?

Probably doing the same thing, but with more money.

Unrelated work questions:

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?

I’m not sure. Maybe Legos.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

Malta was my most favorite trip that I’ve been on for work. Around here, there is a small town called Yellow Springs that I like to visit once in a while to relax and get a pizza, visit a nice comic book store, and ride a horse.

If you could go any place in the world- where would you go?

Tokyo

What is something unique about yourself?

One time I beat an Olympic gold medalist in racquetball.

Favorite animal?

Cat.
